Consecutive Shoes may be thrown for the full match if agreed upon between both team captains.(this is an addition to the current option of individual games)
Make it so the league does not pay for team shoes; each team pays for their own shoes.
Allow players to choose to play with their own shoes or with the league’s American shoes.
Make it a money league.(This request is to have cash awards at the end of the year, how to fund this will need to be determined)
This is a league format / scheduling proposal (not a rule book change).
- Move to one universal division with all 11 teams.
- Play a 12-week season: each team plays all teams once, and each team has one bye.
- Last regular-season week: position round knockdown matches based on standings (2 at 1, 3 at 4, 5 at 6, 7 at 8, 9 at 10; 11 bye).
- Season runs from the last Wednesday in April through the final week on July 15th (no Sundays except make-ups).
- Post-season begins July 22nd: single-elimination with higher seed home.
- Round 2: July 29th and Aug 5th (best of 2 total; no Sundays).
- Championship: Aug 12 / 19 / 26 (best 2 of 3; no Sundays).
- Still has 8 teams reaching the playoffs (same as current).
- Teams that share pits: away team travels there only once; if both teams meet in playoffs, higher seed gets choice of home game.
